The room was a perfect size and had everything we needed. The pool table and fitness area were great to have. The staff was friendly, always available and helpful. The Inn is walking distance to Main St and is cute & quaint. It was chilly otherwise we would have used the porches. Our favorite part of our stay was the breakfast every morning!!! We got a choice of 2 options every day and they made it fresh there in the kitchen and brought it to our table. Patrice, Phem and Maryia were always working early in the kitchen and we loved their breakfast dishes! I noticed they get groceries every day to prepare for the next morning. I appreciate the variety in their menu and everything tasted great. They also baked brownies or cookies in the afternoon which was so nice to have with an afternoon tea or coffee after hikes. Thank you!!!

Amazing stay. At checkin we learned that we were upgraded to a deluxe room on the fourth floor. The room was great. Quiet and comfortable. Breakfast was superb, including 2 choices each day. My wife had the best frittata she has ever had (with spinach, tomatoes) while I had great blueberry pancakes; we both had oatmeal the second day, and she had the scrambled eggs with cheese while I had french toast the third day. A great way to start the day. We also enjoyed the afternoon snacks after our days of hiking in the nearby Acadia National Park.Location was amazing, We loved walking downtown (and not having to pay to park). My wife and I have been married for 42 years. We have stayed at 20 different places in Bar Harbor from campgrounds to B&B's. She said. that this is the best place I have ever taken her.

Location was great! A good location for all things Acadia! Could walk downtown and explore the area. Drove to parks because Acadia is huge, but the hotel was in a nice central, safe area. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent but a little crowded on the weekend (waited for a place to sit and eat). This was off season so I can only imagine how crowded it gets during prime time/summer hours. Perhaps people can spill out on patio and that makes it more spacious. Front desk staff were very accommodating and friendly, taking the time to tell us about the area and things to do off-season. Rooms were comfortable and a little loud at night (could hear other guests up late) but felt safe. Would definitely stay again!

This modern inn replaced an older hotel on the same site that had been owned by the same family for many years. It is within easy walking distance to the main shopping and dining streets of Bar Harbor, and of the town docks. A full breakfast was included, with hot food prepared to order, and served in a nice breakfast room. Our room had two king beds and was spacious and clean. There is a billiard room with some fitness equipment, and a nice outside garden {although it was raining during our stay and not used by us}. Bar Harbor is normally crowded with tourists through much of the year, but during our early April visit few people were around. Several good restaurants were open, however.

Friendly staff, excellent location, charming place. They exceeded my expectations. One of the women making breakfast changed a recipe for that day to avoid any cross contamination due to my severe food allergy. That's never happened in any hotel or Inn I've stayed at. I didn't even know she had done that it just happened to have come up in conversation. When we decided to extend our stay the front desk staff were very friendly and accommodating. The fresh cookies or pastries in the lobby were a bonus. Next time I'm in the area I'll stay here. I highly recommend it.
